This very romantic Villa stands on the promontory known as Puncia and is famous because of the many scholars who once lived there, either as owners or guests. The building dates back to the seventh hundreds but it was modified in the eighteen hundreds. It belonged to the family of Cesare Beccaria, who in 1764 wrote the popular book, “Dei Delitti e Delle Pene”, then it passed to Cesare Cantu and to his daughter Rachele, who is a famous Italian painter and founder of a salon.
The villa is directly situated by the lakeside and directly opposite to the only island in the lake, 'Isola Comacina'. The villa is arranged on three floors - furnished with elegance and authentic Italian design. There are four bedrooms which can comfortably sleep eight people.
